It definitely appears to reduce mosquitos. We used a pair of these lamps on a recent camping trip in a high mosquito area and they seemed to do the job nicely. This was particularly apparent when the mosquitos present were actually significantly reduced after dark when the lanterns’ mosquito lamps turned on.

How cool is that a solar bug zapper. I put it by the chicken coop and it served dual purpose kill bugs and feed chickens. No need to plug it in cuz it runs off the sun. And still going strong.

Happy with purchase so far – will know better how effective it is after we take it to our camp on the lake – hopefully it will help get rid of some of the bugs. It’s attractive and was nicely packaged. It also arrived very quickly!

I bought two of these thinking it would help in my garden. After two days there is no garden pests on the electrodes. However there are a number of mozzies. If your problem is with mozzies, gnats this may be for you. My guess camping would also be a plus. Anyway I’m back to my plug in bug zappers.
