From the very first time I used the egg topper it worked absolutely fine. Will use this a lot because me and mine eat eggs every day. Two thumbs up.

Hold the cone part of the egg cutter firmly on the egg and then lift the little hammer mechanism to make a clean cut on the shell. Use a knife to gently lift the top of the egg, add some salt and pepper and enjoy!
