I’ve tested this electric sharpener on some of my more expensive knives that were in need of sharpening pretty bad. I was very happy with the results. I followed the instructions to the letter for the sharpening patterns. When I was finished, my knives were as good as new.

None of my knives are super expensive so I was not at all hesitant to try it. And all came out pretty good, as long as you follow the instructions. You do have to get the angle just right, which was a bit annoying, but once you do, then it works just fine.
