I bought this to hold large tubes of deco mesh ribbon.. it is very roomy in each pocket, would be great for purses, the hook should be larger and stronger though, it does not fit well over a standard door, but would hang well in a closet or on a rod, would be so much better with an over the door hook.. but I do recommend it if you are hanging on a rod.

Just got this purse holder in yesterday and absolutely love it. While I have a walk-in closet, it does not have the shelf space for easy to grab purse storage for purses or bags you use on a regular basis. The design allows for even larger purses to not take up a lot of space. It is also sturdy enough to not have to empty bags, like small travel bags, you want to keep stocked. Would definitely recommend!
