This is a great tea infuser, as long as you have a cup with a wide mouth and it isn’t slopped. We have the little Fox Mug and Pig Mug from Target and the little Sloth fits perfectly. In terms of the infusion, the silicone doesn’t add any “weird chemical flavor” and looks cute on the mug. We did have some issue with really small tea particles floating out into the water but it’s not an issue if you enjoy the tea anyway, in my opinion.

Love it! So far I haven’t used it with loose tea leaves but the bottom half stays on quite well. I was worried it might keep falling off. Also, the feet don’t have holes which is great so when you squeeze his little bottom and set him down he won’t leak onto the table/counter.
