Love these little guys. Not much to say other than they work and I like them better than tupperware or ziplocks. One reviewer complained about residual onion smell after using it on onion half. I did not have that problem.

I did a side by side comparison: half an avocado in saranwrap next to half an avocado in a hugger. Did the same for half a tomato. These food huggers did a better job! No browning and very minimal wrinkling. Made a delicious salad after my little experiment too!

These are wonderful little covers for so many things. There are plenty of gadgety things in my kitchen that I barely use, but these I could use another set of. I find it really satisfying to snug these onto cut lemons and peppers and zucchini–no bulky containers in my fridge or plastic wrap to throw away. And my half-vegetables look so adorable with their colorful huggers. Just love these!

These work great for holdinbg a cut veggie or fruit, so much better than saran wrap or a baggie. My biggest issue is with wash/dry, it is a manual process. I have yet to figure out a way to air dry since water pools in the ridge. The bubble edge is important to the function and I get that, just a warning that these aren’t super easy to wash.

So there is good and bad. Love the fact that it’s small and strechy.. but cleaning it kinda sucks. Water stays on the inner lip and if you have food go bad while it has the silicone on.. GROSS! Other than that bit of disclaimer, overall, it is a pretty cool way to store food.
