it felt awkward the first time I used it. Some people even feel some pain. But for me the slight tickle, uncomfortable feeling during massage went away after about 4 days of use. there is no doubt that your tight muscles will immediately feel the relief. I’m in my late 50’s and deal with issues in my back from playing sports in high school / college. The stiff sore back and legs after a hard workout were making me not willing to risk the exercise.
