I was suspicious of this phone holder, having tried close to a dozen different ones. After ordering, it was in my mailbox in approximately 2 weeks. I immediately started using it. I have a 45 mile highway commute (one way) to work every day and I use my cell phone for PS traffic alerts. I have been using it for one week and it has performed flawlessly. The grip on the dash is tight enough to keep it in place, but also soft enough to prevent dimples in the dash. The phone holder mechanism is strong and tight. I secures the phone and also does not slump or tilt while in use.
